The short answer

If you reply publicly, be transparent about your role, keep the message informational (disclose risks and audits), avoid promotional language, links to socials/websites/refs, and do not solicit users or ask for signups.

What works here

  • Posting about a protocol with name in title
  • Including risks and a recent audit link in protocol posts
  • Occasional project-related comments within the 10% self-promo limit

What gets posts removed

  • Unsolicited sales pitches, lead-generation or recruitment
  • Posting referral links, giveaways, ICO/IDO/fundraising or surveys
  • Linking to Discord/Telegram/Twitter or project websites
  • Using bots or vote manipulation

Self-promo must include name, risks and audit

Protocol posts are permitted only if the protocol name is in the title, risks are disclosed, and a recent audit link is provided.

No external community links

The rules explicitly forbid Discord, Telegram, Twitter links or links to websites in self-promo posts.

General ban on spam/referrals/giveaways

Separate rules forbid self-promotion/spam, referral links, giveaways, email signups, surveys, and fundraising/ICOs.

Limit on promotional activity

No more than 10% of your posts & comments can promote protocols & projects (anti-shilling).

Keep discussions on-topic

Discussions should remain about DeFi development, news, ideas, events, questions and support.
