Can you promote in r/claudeskills?
Skills are folders of instructions, scripts, and resources that Claude loads dynamically to improve performance on specialized tasks. Skills teach Claude how to complete specific tasks in a repeatable way, whether that's creating documents with your company's brand guidelines, analyzing data using your organization's specific workflows, or automating personal tasks. You no longer need a folder full on prompts, you upload once and simply ask Claude to use that skill whenever you need it.
The short answer
Briefly answer the lead's question first, disclose your affiliation, include a link or clear build details, add the required flair, and avoid salesy language or prohibited links.
What works here
- Posting your own Claude Skill with a repo/download link or build details
- Stating whether the skill is free, open-source, or paid
- Asking or answering genuine questions and sharing demos/screenshots with supporting details
What gets posts removed
- Posting vague screenshots without links or explanations
- Using clickbait titles, affiliate links, link shorteners, or cross-post spam
- Sharing API keys, selling accounts, or anything that breaches terms of service
