Can you promote in r/claudecode?

a community where claude code enthusiasts build, share, and solve together.

The short answer

Reply helpfully on-topic with concrete details, use the required flair, include a clear disclosure of your relationship, avoid links/referral spam and don't repeatedly self-promote.

What works here

  • Answer technical questions about Claude Code
  • Share tools/projects with clear disclosure and costs
  • Request feedback or demos if substantive and on-topic
  • Post in required flair and megathreads when specified

What gets posts removed

  • Unlabeled self-promotion or sales pitches
  • Clickbait titles, referral links, or repeated promotion
  • Off-topic general AI marketing
  • Low-effort posts without code/examples

Where this comes from

Disclosure for Promotions

Rules explicitly allow sharing tools/resources only if you clearly state what it does, who benefits, costs, and your relationship; prohibits referral spam and repeated promotion.

Stay On Topic

Posts must focus on Claude Code (workflows, tutorials, troubleshooting, developer practices), meaning vendor replies must be directly relevant.

Use Required Post Flairs

Every post must use the appropriate flair, so promotional/vendor posts must follow flair rules.

Keep It Substantive

Complaints, comparisons, and feedback posts must include specifics (code, logs, reproducible steps), so vendor replies should be concrete and evidence-based.

Megathreads

Some topics (outages, bugs) must go in pinned megathreads, limiting standalone vendor posts on those topics.
