  • Making your first post/comment a promotional one
  • Posting tool requests or obvious spammy content
  • Posting promotional content without mod approval

Self-advertisement rule

First post/comment cannot be promotional; moderators require prior participation and will use discretion against self-promo.

No selling

Sub explicitly disallows selling products, crypto, job offers, and other commercial posts.

Mod approval & AMA path

AMAs and company participation are allowed if arranged with moderators (contact mods), indicating an approved channel for vendor participation.

Spam/tool-request restrictions

The subreddit bans spam/off-topic posts and tool requests to limit promotional/low-value advertising.

Quality & moderation discretion

Mods reserve discretion to remove low-effort or promotional content; Automod is used aggressively against spammers.
